1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ingrevo, a product of Nexora Labs Limited, a New Zealand company ("Ingrevo", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Ingrevo mobile applications, the website at ingrevo.app, and all related features and services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, or by downloading, accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who may use Ingrevo
Ingrevo is intended only for people who are 16 years of age or older. This minimum age of 16 applies in all of our markets, including India. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 16. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 16 to create an account or use the Service.
You must also have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and you must not be barred from using the Service under the laws of your country. Where the law that applies to you gives additional protections to users who are under 18 — for example, requirements around consent or advertising under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 — we apply those protections as required by that law. 3. The Service
Ingrevo is a pantry-first AI kitchen and meal-planning assistant. Depending on your plan and settings, the Service can help you:
- track the food in your pantry, including by recognising items from photos;
- log meals and estimate their calories and nutrition;
- generate and save recipes and keep a cooking log;
- receive meal suggestions that fit your stated nutrition needs, dietary preferences, allergies, grocery budget and household size; and
- use an in-app conversational assistant.
Ingrevo helps you plan meals within your own nutrition and calorie goals. It is a general meal-planning and kitchen tool. It is not a fitness, weight-loss, medical, or healthcare service, and it does not provide medical, clinical, dietary, or nutritional advice.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time. Some features depend on third-party services and on your device and network, which we do not control.
4. Food-safety and allergen disclaimer — please read carefully
Ingrevo's food recognition, nutrition estimates, recipes, and meal suggestions are ESTIMATES and general information only. They are produced in part by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. They are NOT medical, dietary, nutritional, or allergy advice, and must not be relied on as such.
You are solely responsible for checking the actual ingredients, labels, and preparation of any food before you buy, cook, or eat it. AI-based recognition and recipe generation can misidentify foods, miss ingredients, and fail to detect allergens or traces of allergens.
Do not rely on Ingrevo to avoid allergens or to make any medical, health, or dietary decision. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, medical condition, or other special dietary need, always verify ingredients yourself and consult a qualified professional (such as a doctor or registered dietitian). If you are unsure whether a food is safe for you, do not consume it. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Allergy and dietary information you provide is used to help the Service suggest foods and recipes, but we cannot and do not guarantee that any suggestion is free of any allergen or suitable for your needs.
5. Accounts and security
To use most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials and device secure.
Notify us at support@ingrevo.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or to others.
6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Ingrevo offers a free tier and paid subscriptions. Paid subscriptions are auto-renewable: unless you cancel, your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period and your payment method is charged the then-current price for the next period.
- Purchases are made through, and billed by, the app store you use — Apple on iOS and Google on Android. Your app-store account is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
- You must cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid being charged for the next period.
- You manage and cancel your subscription in your app-store account settings (Apple or Google), not through Ingrevo. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
- Prices, plans, and any free trial or promotional terms are shown at the point of purchase and may change for future periods.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and unused time in a billing period is not refunded when you cancel or delete your account.
Your app-store purchase is also subject to the terms of Apple or Google, as applicable.
7. Advertising
The free tier of Ingrevo is supported by advertising. By using the free tier you agree that we may show you ads within the Service.
- Ads may be personalised or made relevant to you using certain data such as advertising identifiers and app-usage information.
- On iOS, we show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You can decline tracking, and you can change ad-personalisation settings on your device at any time.
- Paid subscribers do not see ads.
- We do not use your health, diet, allergy, meal, calorie, or body-metric data for advertising, and we never share that data with ad networks or sell it. For more detail on advertising and your choices, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in any unlawful way, or for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial meal planning;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or that you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, or circumvent usage limits, security, or authentication;
- use the Service to build or train a competing product, or to resell or redistribute the Service; or
- misuse the AI features, including by submitting content designed to produce unsafe, unlawful, or misleading output.
9. User content and licence
The Service lets you submit content such as pantry items, meal logs, photos, and other information ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and use your User Content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service for you — including sending photos and food text to our AI providers to return your results, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights needed to submit it.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the "Ingrevo" name and brand, is owned by Nexora Labs Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use our name, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.
11. AI features
Some features rely on third-party artificial-intelligence providers (Microsoft Azure AI and Google AI, together "our AI providers") to recognise pantry and meal photos, estimate nutrition, generate recipes, and power the in-app assistant. To provide these features, EXIF-stripped photos, food text, and your allergen information may be sent to our AI providers, as described in the Privacy Policy.
AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You must review AI output and apply your own judgement, and you remain subject to the food-safety and allergen disclaimer in section 4. We do not warrant that AI features will produce any particular result.
12. Account deletion and retention
You may delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing support@ingrevo.app; more information is at /delete-account. When you request deletion, your account is deactivated and your sessions are revoked, and your personal data is erased across our systems within 30 days, subject to limited records we may keep as permitted or required by law.
Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription time, except where required by law, and does not by itself cancel an auto-renewable subscription — you must cancel that in your app-store settings (see section 6). 13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content, estimate, recognition result, or recipe is accurate, complete, or suitable for you.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded (see section 17).
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ingrevo and Nexora Labs Limited, and our officers, employees, and suppliers, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or NZ$100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including under mandatory consumer-protection laws (see section 17).
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ingrevo and Nexora Labs Limited from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your User Content.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example in the app or by email. Changes take effect when posted, or on any later date we state. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Service and may delete your account.
17. Governing law and your statutory rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
However, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply where you live and that cannot be excluded by agreement. In particular, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your non-excludable statutory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, the Australian Consumer Law, applicable EU/EEA and UK consumer laws, India's consumer-protection laws, or comparable laws in your jurisdiction. Where such laws apply, your rights under them prevail over anything inconsistent in these Terms.
